Photos to PDF FAQ

Are my photos uploaded or stored on a server?

No. Everything runs in your browser on your device. Your photos are never sent to our servers or stored by us. The PDF is generated locally, so your images stay private. We built the tool for people who want to combine photos into a PDF without uploading them anywhere.

Which image formats are supported?

Supported formats include JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, and HEIC/HEIF (including photos from iPhones). HEIC files are converted to JPEG in your browser before being added to the PDF, so you can use iPhone photos without converting them first.

Is there a limit on how many photos I can add?

There is no fixed limit, but we recommend up to about 50 photos for smooth performance. Adding many more may slow down your browser while the PDF is generated, depending on your device and image sizes.

Can I reorder the photos before creating the PDF?

Yes. You can drag and drop to reorder images in the list before generating the PDF. You can also choose page size (A4 or Letter) and orientation (portrait or landscape) so the output fits your needs.

Is the Photos to PDF tool free?

Yes. The tool is free to use with no signup or account required. You can create as many PDFs as you need.
